Scoma’s is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded Wine Spectator Award for Excellence again for 2022! The Award of Excellence is given to restaurants that offer thoughtfully chosen wine lists, containing both quality and diverse selections that are compatible with the menu’s style and pricing. Scoma’s team takes great pride in curating a wine list that complements all segments of our menu.

Scoma’s first received the award in 2010, and the wine list has continuously evolved offering something for all palates. The wine by the bottle list is divided into sections, featuring lighter style wines or varietals; progressing through each section the wines increase in richness and body.

Scoma’s +wines by the glass +are poured through a custom tap and barrel system which eliminates oxidation and brings the freshest, highest quality wine to the table using the most environmentally sustainable technology. Interesting varietals are served at the optimum freshness, correct temperature, and continue to minimize Scoma’s impact on the environment which is a win for everyone.

+Scoma’s +has invested much time over the years bringing the staff forward to understanding wine and how important a part it plays at the table. We continue to work hard tasting through wine portfolios, attending seminars and events and selecting wines for our list for what they express in the glass. Our wine list has thus far evolved to what we feel truly compliments our food.

Catering to a wide range of clientele from all over the world, it is our pleasure to showcase both well-known and lesser-known California wines on our list, featuring what we feel are some of the best wines the area has to offer. However, we do also like to include wines from across the globe as they add that extra dimension and touch of balance to the list. We set a goal to make our wines enjoyable for all who dine at Scoma’s.
